The tilting Cup

Cup position
Giani Nirvail singh and, Smt Indigo Gandhari were invited for a tea party at Washington DC by their friend George Khush. After having adequate talks and finishing their cup of tea George placed the cup in a normal position as we do it. Indigo placed it upside down on the saucer with the bottom of the cup facing up. Seeing this Nirvail Singh was in a fix as could not understand in what position he should keep the cup. After a considerable thought he placed it in a tilting position in which the cup could be rolled on either side and sat down quietly. Seeing this George could not stop himself from asking reasons from both of his guests as to why they had kept their cups in those positions. Indigo replied that she does not want to have any more tea so she had kept it that way thereby ensuring that the waiter does not pour more tea even by mistake. George also added that he desires to have some more hence he had kept the cup in upright position so that the waiter pours some more tea. Now it was the turn of Nirvail to give his reasoning who said,
“If there is still some tea left then I will have it otherwise its all right”
