Gurnam singh and Mandakini
I have a course mate of mine in signals by the name of Gurnam Singh. He is very dark skinned and jovial in nature. He was a fan of an actress called Mandakini who was very fair and always dreamt of her. On being asked by one of us during a Tea time at IMA when we were cadets and under training that what kind of a girl would he like to marry after he becomes an officer. Without wasting a second he at once replied,
” Like Mandakini or Mandakini herself if she agrees to my proposal”
Swami who was equally dark skinned and a quick wit said
”That will be no problem as we will make her agree for it but you will have one problem after marriage”
“What is it?” asked Gurnam amazingly showing curiosity.
“You will have black and white kids,” said Swamy seriously and ran away.
