Christian

A true christian
I had a colleague whom we used to address as KD, the short initial of his name. He had a very typical idea about Christians as generally the people from north have based on their language, dressing sense, eating habits and so on. Once we were four of us standing and the discussion started on topic that who is following which religion .We all knew only a little bit about each other as had been introduced amongst ourselves just a few days back but had become friendly enough to share lighter moments with each other. KD was asking each one of us about our religions which we followed. I did not need to answer as my turban gave the answer, Sunil told he is following Hinduism, Ahmed also said that as evident from his name he was a Muslim but when Shomu said that he was a Christian KD did not agree as his name did not sound as per the typical Christian name like Henry , Tom or Andrews. The following conversation took place between them.
Shomu: I am a Christian
KD : A Christian? No you are telling lies
Shomu: No ! No! I am telling the truth and not Joking
KD: Really?
Shomu: I swear!
KD: No I don’t believe you as you are just saying like that only.
Shomu : What makes you feel that I am not a Christian?
KD : You do not speak phat !phat! English
Shomu: That is no reason .It depends upon the environment where you live in.
Any other reason apart from this?
KD : Yes! The main one
Shomu : What’s that?
KD: Your wife doesn’t wear a frock.
Shomu: OK! I am a Hindu. Happy?
